| This Chinese birth control propaganda poster is titled "For Revolution, Must implement late marriage system", in the poster it shows farmers and workers looking ahead with the blossoming flowers in the background. One child policy was implemented in 1978, this poster which was produced by Shanxi revolutionary committee birth control leaders office, was distributed by Shanghai People's Art publishing house in August 1973. Price of the poster was 12 Chinese cents. The poster was a preset for the mandatory one child policy, it reflects the government's direction for control population growth by encouraging young people to get married later and therefore have fewer children. | ||
