| From a famous New York City collection come this superb pair of early 17th. century South German gilded bronze figures of a male and female saint. Standing in dramatic baroque pose, the two figures are boldly animated exhibiting the artists' considerable talent. These figures have excellent detailed filing and finishing and are dazzling in their ancient original gilded finish. The woman saint in flowing robes stands 7 inches tall, while the male saint also attired in the long robes of the baroque period, is a bit higher at 7 1/4 inches. Their expressive faces along with all of the other beautiful details will demonstrate what a treasure these are to own. | ||
