A very beautifully designed pair of modernistic silver plate candlesticks. On tripod feet, the design has engraved lines on the legs and flat surfaces. The cups at the top have a spike to hold the candle firmly. Very well designed and appear Scandinavian, but I am not sure, as the are not marked. Very elegant in appearance.

Condition: Very nice. Silver bright.

A wonderful Deco 8 piece Bakelite manicure set in a striking jade green color. The pieces are all original, and the set is complete. The original card with the set is marked - "Premier Finest steel instruments, mounted in handles of genuine Premalite".
The hexagonal case is quite large and has a fabulous deco design on the top and sides. Closes with three mental clasps and is lined with a black velvet and cream silk. A truly striking set.

Condition: Very nice. No damage to the bakelite, and the finish on the instruments is bright and clear. Overall the set appears to have been treasured, but hardly used.

Fabulous painted celluloid baby set, consisting of a hair brush, powder jar with a lovely maribou puff, and a soap dish painted with delicate pastel flowers with swirling ribbon. The brush is very silky. There is an original card with the same design as the set, signed from "Aldger. Set circa 1910, and all in the original box.

Condition: Excellent.

A very attractive Mt. Washington glass dresser jar in a pale blue color with lovely raised enamel designs in white and gold. Heavily gilded, and beautifully designed with light blue enamel flowers all over the surface. Strong hinge on the jar, and the lid closes firmly. A very lovely piece.

Condition: Very good.

Size: 4 1/2 inches at widest point, and 2 3/4 inches tall.

This is a very attractive silver mesh Deco purse. There are diamond shaped black areas on the mesh to create a Deco design to the piece. The clasp is silver and black enamel and the chain is of a round silver metal. Very appealing pointed fringe along the bottom of the piece. No lining. A very lovely and wearable purse.

Condition: Very nice.

This is a very fancy silver plate posey holder, or Tussie Mussie. It has with the original chain and poker. The posey holder has a design of flowers, leaves, columns and a fancy twisted handle.

Condition: Very nice.

These are five interesting antique jeweled menu, or place card holders, marked Austria. Quite unusual pieces, each having different shaped and jeweled tops with the same base. The jewels are really pretty, as are the decorative elements of the holders. A nice set.

A sweet chatelaine hook, of gilded metal with amethyst paste stones. The piece has a ring on the top so it could be worn around the neck if desired. It would also look nice as a doll accessory.

Condition: under magnification the piece has a small chip on the center stone

This is a very unusual wrist coin purse. I haven't seen this particular item before. It is a round double-sided coin purse made of soft green leather, which opens from a loop and ring as if it is a watch stem. The wrist band is in the same color of leather and is closed by a buckle closing that is adjustable like a watch strap. The inside of the purse is leather with a little metal decorative element in the center divide.

Size: purse - 1-5/8" x 1-5/8"; strap - 3/8" wide???

Condition: Very good.

I don't know what this was used for. It seems like marine ivory with some discoloration. There is a slit down the whole tube; it almost looks like it had a scroll of some material that fit through the split, but it may have another purpose.

Size: 9-1/2" long

Condition: some staining on the interior tube. There is a minor chip and thin hairline going down from it.

A sweet chatelaine compact marked marked Sterling with a W insignia. Original rouge, powder, and original puff for the rouge powder. The mirror pops up in the center so you can see the powder and rouge being applied on either side. The compact has the original tassel and cloth strap - with silver slide and ends. Initials on front are RMT. A very nice and unusual piece.

This is a very lovely silver and guilloché enamel compact with an image of a dog on the cover. Marked sterling silver and retailed at Birk's, which is a high-end jewelry shop in Canada. It has a lovely pale green guilloché enamel on the back side, and in the center of the cover is hand-painted little terrier of some sort on a grassy landscape. Inside has chamois puff with a turquoise silk ribbon matching the outside of the compact. This is a wonderful item.
