A very pretty hallmarked sterling silver baby rattle. Pierced, with stars and clover designs, and with four original bells. Celluloid ring and rope chain. The rattle is engraved with N. Harston,, or name of owner, and is hallmarked to 1913.

Condition: Very nice.

A very elegant sterling silver perfume bottle, marked with a lion and the mark for silver, Exeter in England, 1837. This was the first year of Queen Victoria's reign. A very simple elegant, and sleek design. The top is secured by a tongue in groove lip, and attaches the top really well. A fabulous piece.

Condition: Very nice. Bit of discoloration under magnification where the neck meets the body. This is original to the way the piece was joined. No dents, or scratches.

A lovely figural spoon which would have fit on a jar for cayenne pepper. The head of the spoon in in the shape of a devil head which suits the spoons use for hot pepper, and the design is quite detailed. A very interesting figural piece that dates to Birmingham 1904.

A lovely sterling silver and coral Georgian baby rattle and whistle. Exquisite clean cut Georgian lines with delicate engraving all over the surface. The piece has six bells, a ring to enable it to be hung around the neck, and a beautiful piece of coral for teething and good luck. The whistle still works. The rattle is hallmarked for 1813, and has the initials RPM at the top.

Condition: Very good, with a rich luster to the silver. One bell has been replaced as shown.

This is a lovely Victorian baby rattle. It has an original Mother of Pearl handle marked RCFL & EMB. These are probably initials of the child it was given to, and the person giving it. It has a very elaborate pattern of scroll work and flowers in the silver. Beautiful workmanship. The original three bells and whistle still work, and there is ring for hanging on a ribbon or chain. This marvelous piece is hallmarked Birmingham circa 1898.
