A very attractive antique three leaf clover brooch representing "good luck". Tested silver, with lovely rich colored amethyst paste stones. Small delicate design.

A silver plated brooch of a powerful hunting dog and rats is a most uncommon motif for an antique brooch. However, this unusual high relief piece shows a hunting dog stalking several rats in a straw basket that is standing in a field with surrounding grass and a sheaf of wheat. Image could possibly be from a fairy tale, or fable. Material is likely copper with a silver plate finish. Reverse side seems to be brass with a C clasp and pin , much like a Shakudo piece.

Condition: Highlights of copper showing through, but this may have been intentional.

A very attractive and well crafted early marcasite and genuine pearl brooch, marked 935 silver. Not a modern piece. Likely German in origin, with a safety catch and pin. Workmanship is exceptional.

A beautiful sterling silver basket brooch in the design of a basket of twisted vines and leaves with cultured pearls in high relief as grapes in the basket. Extremely well designed, but with only the mark, silver, on the back. Brooch has a double C clasp and pin.
