This is an exceptionally beautiful painting of a young Swiss girl dressed in a provincial outfit and painted in bright vivid enamels colors that bring the costume to life. The detail work in the painting is exceptional, with even the crown having several colors.
The piece is counter enameled in a lovely blue gray color. This is on the reverse to support the colors when the piece is fired.
The elaborate brooch frame is gold, and is enameled with black and white highlights. Original C clasp and pin.

Condition: Some very minor scratches under magnification, but not visible to the naked eye.

This is a truly exceptional Theodor Fahrner piece. The pendant is marked silver 935, with bright marcasites, three graduated genuine pearls, and a large light blue paste stone to resemble an aquamarine hanging below the pearls. The original bale, that allows the piece to hang from a chain, is also decorated with marcasites. A very interesting Deco design with an unusual combination of materials.

Condition: Very nice.

These are a lovely decorative pair of cut steel earrings with each cut steel piece riveted through to the back metal plate. Overall design of the earrings is of a hanging leaf with three different shapes to the cut steel pieces. Really quite beautiful, and shines similar to diamonds in the light. Earrings have shepherds hooks for pierced ears.

Condition: Very good.

I have not seen a Scottish gold and agate mourning brooch like this before. The design is of a shield with a crown on top, and the body has been tested as 9 kt gold. There is a registration mark on the back, but the date mark area is worn and difficult to read. Carnelian, green, and moss agate stones are on the face of the shield, and natural pearls are inset on the top of the crown, which is an unusual feature in itself. In the center of the open face shield is a memorial hair insert with a lock of hair with a few small pearls and twist of gold wire. A very attractive and unique Scottish brooch.

Condition: Very good. Under magnification there is a bit rubbing to the glass face of the mourning insert.

An exquisite pair of Akoya semi-baroque salt water pearls. Size varies from 8 to 8 1/2 mm. Each of the strands has a matching sterling silver clasp with a pearl center. The pair can be worn as two seperate strands, or joined together to make one large strand. Thick nacre, and very wearable.

Condition: Very nice. Couple of the pearls a bit duller than the others.

Exquisitely carved antique cameo of the Greek Goddess Nike set in its original wire work gold frame. The workmanship on the piece is beautiful down to the fine details on the horses manes and reins. Nike is shown above the clouds with a shield below her foot and holding the reins of three horses. Original C clasp and pin. Really a quality cameo with rich colors.

Condition: Some original stress marks on the background, otherwise lovely.

A wonderful Arts and Crafts German 900 silver and coral pendant on a chain, with the unusual ocean motif of raised silver sea creatures framing a piece of natural branch coral. The design includes a fish, a lobster, a starfish, and what appears to be a sea urchin. It looks as if the pendant was designed especially for the rich colored piece of coral, as the figures fit perfectly into its shape. The pendant is attached by a small chain to the figure of an angel fish, which in turn is attached to the main original handmade chain. The chain has a hook and eye closing.

The pendant is marked 900, and has incised marks of a moon and crown indicating Germany as the country of origin. The pendant has a pin with the original C clasp. An exceptional piece, and really a work of art.

Condition: Fine.

A very unusual lava cameo of a hunting dog, appears to be either a retriever or setter. The lava stone has been carved to create an effect of two tones to the dogs coat. Image is in quite high relief, with the dog standing on a rock formation which is also in two tones of color. The cameo is framed in its original rectangular gold colored frame with C clasp and long pin. Quite a rare piece with with an unusual motif.

Gold has some wear and there is a fine line separation at the hinge, but still totally firm and wearable. There is a very tiny flake on one side of the carving, but this may be intrinsic to the piece.

Size: 2 X 1 1/4 inch framed.

This is a wonderful antique cut steel hair comb with a heavy riveted cut steel top in a flower and lozenge design. Each piece is riveted onto a solid brass backing. The comb itself is inserted into what is likely a silver bracket. The piece has not been polished as it has a lovely patina. Each lozenge is about 1/2 inch from top to bottom, creating a very decorative sparkly effect.

Condition: Very good. Two of the center tines of the comb have glue at the base, so have probably been broken at one time. Does not really affect the appearance, but may affect the wearability. Very striking appearance.

A lovely Art Nouveau 14 kt gold brooch with the profile of a young woman's head on one side. The piece has tiny inset diamonds, and one small ruby. Original C clasp, and pin with a hook at the bottom. A safety chain and pin has been added. Marked 14 kt, so possibly American made. Reverse side is plain.

Condition: Very nice. Bright rich color.

This is a beautiful Austro Hungarian silver pendant. Done in high relief showing a cherub riding an eagle with the north wind behind. The eagle is sitting on a semi circular base, which has five bezel set turquoises around the front circumference. There are six pearls suspended from the pendant and the back is decorated with typical Austro Hungarian designs, as well as a touchmark that is difficult to read. A very striking piece.

Condition: Very good. Two pearls have been replaced.

A very lovely 18Kt gold (tested) mourning brooch with three colors of hair woven in an intricate braided and twisted pattern. The gold surround mimics the hair patterns with its own twisted and interwoven design. The piece has the original C clasp and pin. A very striking piece with the shades of the hair complimenting the rich gold surround.
