A very sweet little wooden chicken coop with a bird house on top. Very well crafted with a sliding back panel that allows access to the interior. The toy comes with eleven painted metal pieces.....eight chickens, one goose with it's wings outspread, a mother duck with five ducklings, and a farm girl casting seed with two other chickens on the same base. The toy is in its original cardboard box with the label on the inside cover, 'Chas. Morrell, 50 Burlington Arcade, London, W. Dolls, Toys, Games, etc. '. This was a famous toy store in Victorian and Edwardian times. The toy has been carefully kept, as the coop and the figures are in excellent shape.

Box has wear as shown, but is intact. Penciled note. Otherwise coop and figures are excellent.
