This is a very pretty enamel and gilded French box. The top has an rondel decorated with a scene of hand painted flowers on guilloche enamel, and is surrounded by a elaborate pierced metal design. The sides of the box are also decorated in relief. The top is hinged and there is a mirror on the inside cover. The piece is marked Made in France on the base. Beautiful workmanship and rich colors to this little hexagonal box.

Condition: Very good. Mirror has minor discoloration.

The porcelain quality is wonderful on this small porcelain candle snuffer figure with an Orientalist face, top knot, and delicate coloring. Costume consists of a flowing gown with pierced holes in a ruffled collar. The holes appear to be through the collar only, but in fact go into the body. I would imagine this was to let the smoke escape when the figure was placed over the candle. The only mark to be found is a small red 20 on the interior of the body. Really a very sweet piece.

Condition: Fine.

This is a very attractive little expanding purse with a rich brass metal frame, and lovely mother of pearl sides. The inside of the purse is sectional and covered in purple colored silk, with a center section that can be closed with a clasp. Excellent workmanship. Not marked, but very likely French I origin.

Condition: Fine. There are a couple of minor chips to the MOP, but do not detract.

This is a lovely hand hammered Arts and Crafts silver spoon with the hallmark of three towers and the number 39 under the towers. Also marked JS, for Jens Sigsgaard, Statsguardein, Denmark. 1932 – 1960. Very simple, but elegant design.

Condition: Fine.

This is a very fancy silver plate posey holder, or Tussie Mussie. It has with the original chain and poker. The posey holder has a design of flowers, leaves, columns and a fancy twisted handle.

Condition: Very nice.

Fabulous painted celluloid baby set, consisting of a hair brush, powder jar with a lovely maribou puff, and a soap dish painted with delicate pastel flowers with swirling ribbon. The brush is very silky. There is an original card with the same design as the set, signed from "Aldger. Set circa 1910, and all in the original box.

Condition: Excellent.

These are five interesting antique jeweled menu, or place card holders, marked Austria. Quite unusual pieces, each having different shaped and jeweled tops with the same base. The jewels are really pretty, as are the decorative elements of the holders. A nice set.

A beautiful guilloche enamel acorn, with a screw off top to reveal a collapsible ladies cigarette holder. The white guilloche enamel over silver gilt has a delicate floral design on both the top and bottom. I would guess the piece would date to around 1910 when women would want to keep their smoking private. A very elegant way to do it ! This very unusual piece would make a lovely pendant on a chain and could be used to hold a different small article if one desired.

Condition: Very nice. Holder has been used, but still folds perfectly.

I don't know what this was used for. It seems like marine ivory with some discoloration. There is a slit down the whole tube; it almost looks like it had a scroll of some material that fit through the split, but it may have another purpose.

Condition: some staining on the interior tube. There is a minor chip and thin hairline going down from it.

A gorgeous fuchsia colored velvet ring box. Interior has gold piping and a raised black velvet section to hold a ring. Interior top is a pale yellow silk with the name ' Mitchell & Duncan Ltd., Jewelers Victoria, B.C. Mother of pearl press button to open.

Condition: very good.

Size: 4 3/4 X 2 3/4 X 1 inch.

A sweet chatelaine compact marked marked Sterling with a W insignia. Original rouge, powder, and original puff for the rouge powder. The mirror pops up in the center so you can see the powder and rouge being applied on either side. The compact has the original tassel and cloth strap - with silver slide and ends. Initials on front are RMT. A very nice and unusual piece.

A very sweet miniature bronze pig reprsenting 'The little pig that built the house of bricks'. Excellent detail in the casting down to the trowel showing in the little fellows pocket. The figure stands on its own base. Rich deep color to the figure.
