A gorgeous antique portrait Jumeau doll with trousseau. Pale pressed bisque with beautiful shaded cheeks, mauve eyeshadow, delicate feathered eyebrows, shaded nostrils and lips, and blue paper weight almond shaped eyes. The eyes have dark lines around the irises and lovely radiating lines around the pupils. Pierced ears. The doll has the original head coil, cork pate, and the original French straight wristed body. Marked Jumeau... Medaille D'Or...Paris. Just an exquisite doll. She has a an antique lambskin wig, and another antique blonde wig for a different look. Trousseau consists of- antique pantaloons and a silk slip, antique shoes and socks. She is wearing an antique printed dress and an antique straw hat. Included in her wardrobe is a white cotton dress, a silk drop waist dress, a white felt winter jacket, a blue silk navy dress(frail), a pale blue silk dress, and a lovely blue silk and ecru lace antique dress. Included also is an antique straw hat (frail). A lovely cabinet sized doll with an extensive antique trousseau. Size: 14 inches. Condition: Minor body wear. Finger chipped on inside as per picture. |
