This is a very lovely handcrafted Ikebana basket. The piece is quite tall with an amazingly intricate woven design throughout. Body edges are stitched wood, and the handle is wood as well, overlaid in parts with a basketry stitching design. An amazing basket with a rich aged brown appearance. Condition: Overall condition is excellent.
Size: height of basket – 14 ½ inches. Height to top of handle - 25 1/2 inches. |
