This is a lovely Regency ormolu watch hutch with a heavy veined marble base. The ormolu scrolled design shows a spiraling snake, a bird, and stylized leaves. The watch holder section is covered with red velvet, and there is a hook to hang a watch from. Very interesting design and a lovely display item, either with or without a watch. Colors and design work are exceptional. Condition: Fine. There is a small chip to the marble base at the back rear corner. Size: height- 7 1/8 inches, width- 5 inches, depth- 2 ¾ inches. |
