This is a very interesting purse – tested silver, with a very intricate filigree top inset with several amethyst paste stones. Body is a silver mesh design with five small drop beads along the bottom. The ornate top opens to reveal a sovereign, or coin holder, and there is another layer that can be opened to show a mirror as well. Medium length chain to loop over a wrist. Condition: Mirror is somewhat tarnished. Couple of mesh links are unattached, but are difficult to spot and don’t detract from the appearance. Size: Top- 2 ¾ X 2 ¼ inches. Height: 9 inches including chain. Mesh purse: 4.5 inches. |
