This is definitely a most interesting and unusual piece. Entitled “The Perpetual Calendar”, it has an enameled leaf design on the front in colors of yellow and green. In the center are the enameled letters C & H. in red and blue. The reverse side shows a calendar with the dates 1 to 31, and a moveable wheel on one side with the days of the week, as well as the words “Made by Samurai”. The piece has tested silver and is very well made. Could be worn as a pendant or a charm. Fascinating. Condition: Minor enamel loss under magnification, but does not detract from the appearance. Size: Height to top of ring – 1 ¼ inches. Width – 1 inch. |
