From what I understand, these wonderful art glass orchids were made when the real flowers were unavailable from Hawaii due to war time conditions. The glass work is amazing, with the orchid having thick lavender shaded glass petals and a twisted cloth stem with pin and safety clasp. The matching earrings have screw type fastenings. Dramatic, and very realistic. Condition: Fine. Colors are beautiful. Size: Brooch- 5 X 3 ¾ inches. Earrings- 1 X 1 inch. |
