A lovely brass and marble desk set with two crystal glass inkwells, and framed by two swinging brass candle holders. The inkwells have fitted brass tops, and the candle holders are attached to the marble base by decorative hinged arms. Behind the inkwells is a horseshoe shaped pen holder with knobs to hold two pens. Base is a streaked grey marble that stands on four brass feet. Really a quality piece with an unusual design. Condition: Fine. Bit of minor rubbing to marble front. Nothing that detracts from the appearance. Size: 5 3/8 X 3 ¾ inches. Height- 3 ¾ inches. |
