This is a wondeful set of unusual grey and blueish stone buttons set in 800 silver with silver shanks. The stones are of a very unusual marbled and veined color. Perhaps a type of Jasper. The six buttons are in their original box which is marked in German with gold lettering- Helene Nowak Jewelry, and the names of German spa locations. Each of the buttons is quite distinctive, with a different vein pattern and color in each.
Condition: Minor flaws on the stone surface, which is understandable in this type of veined mineral. Bar missing, which could have been used as a collar fastener. Box has exterior aging / water marks, but interior is fine. Size: Buttons- ½ inches across, and approx. ½ inch high, including shank. |
