This is a lovely antique sterling silver butterfly design belt, hallmarked Birmingham 1901. The large clasp is in the shape of a butterfly with decorative etched lines in the pierced wings. Links have a clover leaf shape motif connected together by small oval link chains. Each of the clover leaf links is hallmarked as well. A very attractive belt that could be also worn as a necklace if placed down at the back.
Condition: Fine. Size: Length- 23 ½ inches. Height of butterfly- 1 7/8 inches. Height of clover leaf link- 1 inch. |
