This is a quite unusual antique Battersea enamel cloakpeg with a transfer print in black and white of a gentleman, or possibly royalty, on the face. The enamel is set in an ornate brass frame with a long stemmed screw back. Very attractive. Condition: Some minor hairlines. No enamel loss. Brass in quite good condition for the age. Size: 2 1/8 X 1 3/4 inches. Length: front to end of screw- 2 7/8 inches. |
