This is a very sweet small Belton doll with a solid dome bisque head except for two stringing holes on top in the Belton style. Very nice bisque, inset glass eyes, closed mouth, square cut flange neck on a wooden post, a mohair wig, and the original mariners outfit with a metal anchor at the neck. Body is a five piece with painted shoes and socks. Beautiful little doll with great character.
Condition: No cracks, hairlines, or repairs to the head. Bit of roughness around stringing holes, and one shoe restored. Size: 8 inches. |
