Radiant ~ Refined ~ Resplendent …
Nothing short of spectacular, this massive, sterling silver bracelet is at once magnificent in its Arts & Crafts/Art Deco design and strikingly modernist panache. It is composed of four large, primary stations interconnected by 1-1/4” pin hinges and a smaller, secondary station secured by 3/4" pin hinges. Each of the main stations displays an ovoid gemstone cabochon, set within a bezel-edged silver casing that is soldered to a pair of silver back straps. The stone cabs graduate in size, from two 29mm white and green-veined agates, to two 32mm black onyx, and finally to the large centerpiece, a gorgeous, 38mm imperial jade with black inclusions. The secondary station mimics the cabochons with a silver oval dome surmounted to a rectilinear silver plaque. The station is flanked by an oblong silver brace on one side and matching oblong element on the other that is actually the J-hook closure. Impressive and imposing, this bracelet is a real showstopper, as well as a one-of-a-kind vintage jewelry collectible. Hallmarks: MACRAFT; HAND MADE; STERLING. Dimensions: 7-1/4” long x 1-1/2” at its widest point, tapering to 11/16” at the J-hook. WEIGHT: 101.8 grams. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, definitely collector quality. |
