The design and construction of this fabulous folding handbag are based on the highly collectible, collapsible bamboo baskets produced in Japan, during the 1950’s and ’60s. Very possibly handcrafted in Japan, as well, it is fashioned from artistically shaped bamboo slats tied together and lined in strong twisted and knotted, cotton cord netting. The top opening boasts bamboo handles fitted with golden yellow, faux leather hand straps, as well as a faux leather tab with goldtone metal snap closure. The perfect summer take-along, this art-to-wear accessory is a showstopper guaranteed to get you noticed! LABEL/MAKER: None.
