Absolutely awesome in design and exceptionally well made, this pair of earrings is very evocative of Salvador Teran’s stylized, pre-Columbian jewelry that was sold by Mexico’s prestigious Marbel retail store in the 1960’s. Made with a bright, matte goldtone finish, each earring depicts a pre-Columbian, Aztec or Maya face mask motif, with dangling, cascabel-like pendants. The metalwork boasts extraordinary detail and dimension, and the backs are fitted with posts. Simply sensational showstoppers! Hallmarks/MAKER: Unmarked. Dimensions: 3” x 1-3/8”.
