Gorgeous quadruple plate teaset with wonderful grape motif. Includes: Teapot, sugar bowl with cover, cream pitcher, large handled tray. Barbour Silver Co. was started in 1881 and was one of the original companies that formed the International Silver Co. in 1898. This set was probably made in the 1890s.
The serving pieces are marked with the Barbour Silver Quadruple plate mark; the tray has the regular silver plate hallmark (see photos)...
This delicate sterling silver spoon is hand tooled with an elaborate pierced and twisted handle. The handle and bowl are two pieces. The bowl is monogrammed “Minnie.” The piece is simply marked: Sterling. Overall length is 4 7/8 inches. Excellent condition.
This Victorian silver plated syrup pitcher has an attached underplate. Made by Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. of Rochester, New York. Wonderfully decorated with a leafy floral motif. This is marked: The Van Bergh S. P. Co. Rochester, N. Y./Quadruple Plate/31. Measures about 5 1/2 inches tall. It has a small dent on the lid, otherwise excellent condition.

This is a beautiful huge Victorian sterling silver chocolate muddler or long serving spoon. The squarish bowl has a long thin handle. Perfect for stirring up a pot of chocolate. This gorgeous graceful piece was made by Towle starting in 1912. The Mary Chilton pattern is a highly collected design and the chocolate muddler is rare. It does have an M monogram (and priced accordingly).

This crystal vanity bottle has a pattern of cut panels and ribbing. The crystal jar is about 2-1/2 inches across and 2 inches tall. The sterling silver lid has a wonderful scrolling repousse design with a monogram. The lid just pushes on with a snug fit. Marked: Whiting Silver Mfg. Co. lion logo + Sterling/Pat 1893 + 3905/113 + 925/1000 Fine. Excellent condition.
Superb Art Deco silver case for holding calling cards or ivory note cards - or one collector told me it was a match holder. It has a ring that would allow it to hang from a chain or chatelaine. The case is inlaid with 14k gold and is coated with gold on the inside as well. Made by James E. Blake. Marked inside: Sterling (logo) 8451-1/2 14KT. Engraved on the front with the date 1918; on the back with initials AEM. Measures 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches and 1/4-inch thick. Excellent condition.
WOW! This is a large Muffineer (Sugar Shaker or Caster) in a classic octagonal shape with a pierced top. Measures a full 8 1/4 inches tall. The base is marked on the side with the Chester marks indicating sterling made in 1905 by George Nathan and Ridley Hayes silversmiths (GN/RH). The removable top has the sterling and date marks. The piece weighs about 7.2 Troy ounces, or 224 grams. Excellent condition with only a few minor dings and a slight wobble to the foot.

Very nice Art Deco scent bottle. The crystal bottle is octagonal and has a glass stopper as well as a sterling silver screw-on lid. The sterling silver lid has an Art Deco shield pattern. Marked: Sterling and the Webster silver Mfg. Co. logo. Measures about 1-1/4 inches across and 3 5/8 inches tall. Excellent condition, although the lid does have a small dent.
Beautiful grape pattern on this slender handled pickle fork in the Verona pattern from R. Blackinton & Co. The pattern was started in 1905. This is an unusual piece. This strawberry fork was introduced by Tiffany & Co. in the late-1800s. This is probably one of the most sought after pieces. It is a strawberry fork in the Strawberry pattern! Beautifully decorated on both sides. Marked on the back: T. & Co. /Stg. Overall length is 4 3/8 inches. Excellent condition.

This wonderful wooden box is fitted with a lid trimmed in sterling silver and topped with an antique Chancay animal figural textile fragment under glass. The box is carved from a single piece of Andean hardwood – possibly mahogany – and measures 2 x 2 x 1 7/8 inches tall. The hand hammered silver on the rim of the lid is unmarked, but surely sterling or close to it...
