The central brooch is made from three connected hollow panels. Each panel has a hand-painted portrait medallion and the center one has turquoise and seed pearl accents. The brooch is from c1860s, but it was altered at a later date. It looks like it was originally longer … the outer panels or extensions have been removed … see photo...
Gorgeous gold and carnelian bracelet. The gold is 18K yellow gold (tested, not marked). The carnelian links are nice round ring medallions. The clasp is absolutely wonderful! The bracelet is 7.5 inches long and has five graduated carnelian rings. There is a kanji or Chinese mark on the back of the clasp. Looks to be from c1900.
This is a lovely late-Victorian Arts and Crafts style 14K yellow gold stickpin. The shield design includes three seed pearls and a small mine-cut diamond. Measures about 9/16-inch long, the pin about 2-1/2 inches long and the total weight is about 1.2 grams or 0.040 Troy ounces. The pin shank is marked, but it is too small to decipher, however I think it is a French hallmark. Excellent condition.

Mid-1800s yellow gold drop earrings. These appear to bear the hallmark of the city of Altenburg, Thuringia, Germany, pre-1886. The purity designation is 800, which indicates near 20K gold (19.2K actually). My tester indicates greater than 18K gold. Each has a nice dark blue sapphire in the middle of a gold "flower" and a pearl at the top. The sapphires are about 6mm diameter; the pearls about 4mm. Total weight is about 3.2 gm (0.10 TOz). Drop length is about 1 3/8 inch. Excellent condition.

Fabulous late-Victorian or Edwardian pansy bracelet. This is masterfully handmade in 14k gold. The Art Nouveau flowers are articulated on each link so that they move independently from the curvature of the bracelet. The bracelet is about 7 inches long and 1 inch wide...

This is a Victorian Mourning Watch Fob Locket Pendant with layered onyx on one side and carnelian on the other, all set in 10K gold. The locket was sealed when I got it, but I opened it. Inside is a sealed side with something in it! The other has a picture holder with no picture in it. The “glass” appears to be rock crystal and is broken. Dates from the 1880s.
There is an example of this type of locket on page 200 of Collecting Victorian Jewelry by C. Jeanenne Bell (KP Books ©2004)...
