Fantastic coin silver repousse box used for slaked lime. The box is heavily decorated on top with flowers, tendrils and vines. The body has nice molding. The piece contains no marks or inscription.

The box is in the shape of an elongated oval (elliptical). It measures about 2.75 x 1.75 inches and 2 inches tall. Excellent condition. There is a small accumulation of slaked lime residue inside the box.

Wonderful late 19th century English brown transferware 5-3/4" plate in the Madras pattern by William Brownfield & Sons. The central area of the plate depicts a fancy pagoda on the banks of a river. In the foreground there are three figures under a tree. The border has sprays of flowers and pagodas. The piece is marked on the backside: Madras / W.B.&S. Excellent condition.

This is a superb Victorian mahogany sewing box from the late-1800s. It features a rotating pincushion, eight thread spool holders and escutcheons to pull thread, a drawer, a pull out mirror and bone finials. Nicely made with light inlaid wood and bone (ivory?) finials and escutcheons. Sits on four ball feet. Measures about 7 inches wide, 5-1/4 inches deep and 7 inches tall to the top of the pincushion...

Terrific WWI photograph of German soldiers at "Skat Club Hummel Montauban 1914-1915". The wooden frame is wonderfully hand painted with four different panels. The two sides have soldiers in full dress. The bottom panel is a fairly detailed village scene. The top has a banner that reads: 1914 Errinnerungan Montauban 1915...

Carved wooden statue with gesso, polychrome paint and partial gilt. He is a priest or friar dressed in flowing robes with glass eyes. Condition is very good, with some paint chips, minor cracks and possibly missing his halo. Height: approx. 12 5/8 inches. Probably late 1800s.

19th Century English Silver Sugar and Creamer set in a silk and velvet lined leather presentation box from “Mappin Brothers Silversmiths / 35 St.Paul’s Churchyard & Regent Street”. Sugar and creamer have repousse decoration, with foliate scrolls in ovoid reserves and vermeil interior. Both pieces have a monogram ASA and are fully hallmarked, as shown. Makers Mark: C.E. for Charles Edwards of London. Date: 1886 and 1888. Height: 2 1⁄4 inches; weight: 3.82 OZT. Excellent condition.
