This is a beautifully made hollow body pin. The back appears to be low karat gold or gold-filled. The front is 14K yellow gold, set with a nice little diamond (about 2mm) and decorated with enamel in-laid flowers of turquoise and white. This is a scatter pin made from 19th Century United States silver coins. I originally had a pair of these Victorian LOVE TOKENS, but just sold one of them. The coin is a Liberty capped bust half-dime from 1835. One side of the coin has been ground flat and engraved with the initials PBJ (or maybe PBI – the script is quite fancy and the third letter is ambiguous). The pin is gold-filled and dates from the late 19th century, with a C-clasp and tubular hinge. Excellent condition...

This is a beautiful Art Deco era Bar Pin. It has a clear 3mm (1/8 carat) diamond set in the middle of an 18-karat white gold filigree setting. There are eight small dark blue sapphires, four on each side of the diamond.

The pin clasp is an odd type that was used around the turn of the century, but I would estimate the age at sometime in the 1920s. The clasp is marked 18K. About 0.15 TOz total weight...
