This is a late Victorian belt buckle that has been re-fashioned into a brooch. All the faceted, cut steel studs are riveted into place onto a steel backing plate and frame. The brass buckle fittings are still on the piece, which now has a pin-back glued to it. Unmarked, but probably French. Measures about 2 x 2 inches. Excellent condition, with a wonderful patina and just a hint of rust overall, and a few rusted studs under the top layer....

This Victorian silver plated syrup pitcher has an attached underplate. Made by Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. of Rochester, New York. Wonderfully decorated with a leafy floral motif. This is marked: The Van Bergh S. P. Co. Rochester, N. Y./Quadruple Plate/31. Measures about 5 1/2 inches tall. It has a small dent on the lid, otherwise excellent condition.
