This is a lovely ceramic basket in a pale green luster. It has a cute little putto on one side and a spray of carnations on the other. The decorations are decals, with hand painted gold accents around the cherub. The basket has a highly textured, woodland design. I believe this is 19th century German, but it is not marked. The condition is excellent – no cracks or repairs – but the surface luster has some wear and there is one fleabite chip that is hardly noticeable. Measures about 4 1...

This repouse nut cup was made by William Devenport, Northwood Street, Birmingham 1913. The silver is rather thin and formed to shape. The rim is loaded with Art Nouveau scrolls entwined around the piece. The side bears the hallmarks indicating Birmingham 1913 and the maker’s mark – W.D – for William Devenport. The nut cup or bowl is about 2 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 1 inch deep. Condition is excellent....

This is a wonderful little doll from the 1930s or earlier. She looks like she is either a hula girl or an American Indian girl. She is made of bisque that is painted a dark red and has movable arms and legs. Her outfit is made of leather – that is why I think she may be Native American. Her features are hand painted, including a headband. The doll has no maker’s mark that I can find. She is about 3 inches tall and in excellent condition, although the leather is quite stiff....
