The brass buckle fittings are still on the piece, which now has a pin-back glued to it. Unmarked, but probably French. Measures about 2 x 2 inches. Excellent condition, with a wonderful patina and just a hint of rust overall, and a few rusted studs under the top layer.

The top two sheets (one of each half of the piece) are formed to the shape of faceted beads and polished. These are attached to the lower piece with 22 faceted cut steel studs. This is a nice long strand of graduated egg shaped black jet faceted beads. Each bead is individually knotted in place. The beads graduate in size from the smallest at about 3/8 inch long and 1/4 inch in diameter to the largest at about 1-1/8 inch long and 7/8 inch in diameter. The necklace is about 34 inches long. There is minor wear to a few of the largest beads.
Gorgeous hand crafted triple-strand contemporary choker necklace of large carnelian glass beads and translucent Australian green opal beads. Each of the large beads is separated by five small natural beads. The 27 large flat beads are about 1 to 1-1/4 inch in size. Length of the necklace is about 16 1/2 inches.
