This is a delightful little 18-piece Luncheon Flatware Set. These are German silver-plate from the mid-1900s. I do not know the pattern or maker – although the logo hallmark is HHL. Each piece is marked “HHL 90” followed by a number 12 1/2 on the knives, 18 on the forks and 21 on the spoons. The German system of marking guarantees 90 grams of silver on the number of pieces indicated...

Wonderful souvenir of San Francisco before the Golden Gate Bridge was built. The bowl has a raised image of San Francisco Bay looking out at the sunset through the Golden Gate. The Presidio is on the left and the Bodega lighthouse on the right. The handle of the spoon has a lovely floral design front and back – I do not know the name of the pattern.

Measures about 5 1/8 inches long. Excellent condition...

Art Deco powder compact from the 1920s. Engraved on the top FUZZY! Marked on the bottom: Mary Dunhill Sterling. The compact is in very good condition, having a couple of tiny dings and a slight orange peel to the top surface, which could be buffed out (I do not have the buffer)...

This is a fantastic Scandinavian sterling silver tea strainer that is from around 1900 (time period 1890-1920, I think). This is a relatively heavy piece (1.8 Troy ounces/56 grams) and it is profusely decorated. The applied, cast handle has a superb two-sided image of a Dutch lady holding a basket. The wide rim has foliate scrolls all over. The bowl is undecorated.

There are four hallmarks, that are located on the rim...

This is a silver plate Daffodil Bouillon Spoon by Wallace Silversmiths from the early 1900s. The pattern was a multi-motif floral that was introduced in 1902. Beautifully designed both front and back, as shown in the photos. Marked: “1835 R. Wallace / Pat. 1902.” Measures about 4 3/4” long with a round bowl...

This is a beautifully hand wrought citrus or grapefruit spoon. The handle has a carefully crafted stalk of leaves and flowers, culminating in a pair of gilt chrysanthemums or poppies. There is also a bird halfway up the handle. The bowl of the spoon appears to have been applied to the handle and is itself decorated with a poppy floral motif with a little butterfly above the flower. This is unmarked and surely sterling silver (or similar silver content)...
