This is a superb Victorian mahogany sewing box from the late-1800s. It features a rotating pincushion, eight thread spool holders and escutcheons to pull thread, a drawer, a pull out mirror and bone finials. This case includes four German bone handled tools (awl, hook, needle case, pencil marker), a bodkin, a bone thread winder and an old, slightly rusted but sharp scissors.
