This is a gorgeous delicate pin with a gold flower on a stem. The flower is adorned with a beautiful dark blue sapphire in the middle surrounded by four clear crystal (gem?) stones. Lovely, long Victorian style slide chain necklace is all 14K yellow gold. The small butterfly shaped slide is about 9/16 x 5/16 x 3/16 inch. The butterfly slide also has four prong set opal half-beads. Both the slide and the clasp are marked: JBC 14K. Total weight is 0.3 Troy ounces (9.3 grams). The chain is about 30 inches long and has a two drops on the end. All original. Excellent condition.

A delightful 19th century children's game based on Daniel Defoe's classic book Robinson Crusoe. This game entitled "Robinson Crusoe and His Man Friday" has 28 of the original 30 cards (cards are 2.25x3.25 inches) each with etched, hand-colored images of Robinson Crusoe, his man Friday and a host of plant life, animals and objects that might be found on Crusoe's island. The cards are in fine condition, showing just a hint of age.

Beautiful flower with petals and leaves made of faux tortoise (celluloid?) or nut casing. The flower is suspended on a spring on the end of the hairpin so that it trembles. This is a superb Victorian mahogany sewing box from the late-1800s. It features a rotating pincushion, eight thread spool holders and escutcheons to pull thread, a drawer, a pull out mirror and bone finials.
