This is a spectacular demi-parure, with large triangular brooch and clip-on earrings. The set is designed with a series of diamond-shaped crystals with frosted tops that are flanked by clear crystal rhinestones. The gold-toned metal setting casts a lovely soft golden glow in the stones. These pieces are not marked, but are clearly a high quality set. The brooch measures about 2 1/4 x 2 inches; the earrings about 1 x 1 1/4 inches. Gold-toned rhodium plated backs. Excellent condition.
Nice compact black leather case with a gentlemanâ€™s vanity set. The case has a hair brush and comb. The textured leather case has a tag that reads: Guaranteed Genuine Leather Made in U.S.A. Measures about 5-1/4 x 3-1/4 x 1-3/4 inches when closed. Generally in excellent condition, with wear to the leather. The snap clasp works.
The Extasia pressed glass cameos are made in a small Bavarian village, using original steel molds and techniques unchanged from the 1800s. This plum colored glass cameo has a detailed lady image set in a silver-plated pewter frame with oak leaves and acorns. All the Extasia jewelry are made in Northern California. This is a discontinued piece. Measures about 2 inches each side. Excellent condition.
This is a wonderful little doll from the 1930s or earlier. She looks like she is either a hula girl or an American Indian girl. She is made of bisque that is painted a dark red and has movable arms and legs. Her outfit is made of leather â€“ that is why I think she may be Native American. Her features are hand painted, including a headband. The doll has no makerâ€™s mark that I can find. She is about 3 inches tall and in excellent condition, although the leather is quite stiff.
This silver fork is hand tooled and has a twisted handle with a bucket and water well at the top. It is a berry fork or butter pick or olive fork or pickle fork or cocktail pick. The figure of the water well is excellently done, with lots of detail and in 3-dimensions with a hanging bucket. The piece is marked on one tine: 900 Argentina. Overall length is 4 1/4 inches. Excellent condition.
Old Knights Templar medal and ribbon. The badge holder top is a gold-filled chair with a Templar symbol on it. A silk ribbon hangs from the medal. The ribbon reads: Knights Templar Field Day / Orange 1916. There is a celluloid orange that hangs from the ribbon. Excellent condition.
Nice tropical flower silver-plated souvenir coffee spoon from the Hawaiian Islands. ALOHA FROM HAWAII on the front of the handle along with a pierced image of a hibiscus flower. Not marked. Measures about 3 1/2 inches long. Nice spoon â€“ excellent condition.

Beautiful red strawberry with green leaves, made entirely of glass micro mosaic set into black glass, or black jet, and set in an oval gilded brass bezel. The bezel is quite fancy, being surrounded by an attached ribbon with flowers and berries. The micro mosaic is of excellent quality, and would qualify as being called pietra dura. A truly whimsical, yet functional brooch with a retractable chain in the back to hold any number of items for the well-outfitted lady. These were marketed in the 1940s & 1950s as â€śThe Paly Pin â€“ A California Product.â€ť This one holds a small lipstick, but would work equally well to hold a dance pencil, small pen, perfume bottle, or glasses (if they are not too heavy). Lovely hand painted lavender orchid pin with light-purple highlights and rhinestone crystals. This is a large pot metal brooch with a fur pin clip on the back. Unsigned Coro design. Measures about 2 1/4 inches tall. The piece has a minor amount of paint loss on the edges, which is excellent condition for this type of cold painted brooch.
This is a mid-1900s mechanical pencil that is hung on a retractable chain. The chain is attached to a medallion that pins on a coat. It has a â€ścracked iceâ€ť celluloid covered barrel. It operates by twisting the bottom end to extend the lead for use. The top part twists off to reveal an eraser and a place to store leads. The pin is marked on the back: Ketcham McDougall, Upper Montclair, N.J.; and the pin mechanism is marked: Kethall. The pencil measures about 4 inches...
Mid-1800s yellow gold drop earrings. These appear to bear the hallmark of the city of Altenburg, Thuringia, Germany, pre-1886. The purity designation is 800, which indicates near 20K gold (19.2K actually). My tester indicates greater than 18K gold. Each has a nice dark blue sapphire in the middle of a gold "flower" and a pearl at the top. The sapphires are about 6mm diameter; the pearls about 4mm. Total weight is about 3.2 gm (0.10 TOz). Drop length is about 1 3/8 inch. Excellent condition.
