This repouse nut cup was made by William Devenport, Northwood Street, Birmingham 1913. The silver is rather thin and formed to shape. The rim is loaded with Art Nouveau scrolls entwined around the piece. The side bears the hallmarks indicating Birmingham 1913 and the maker’s mark – W.D – for William Devenport. The nut cup or bowl is about 2 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 1 inch deep. Condition is excellent.

Nice 10 14 inch tall pair of Art Deco candlesticks by the New York City silversmith Richard M. Woods. Woods worked in NYC c1925-c1940. The fluted stands and bases are decorated with nice foliate and geometric chasing. Marked on the bottom of the candlesticks with the Woods hallmark RMW / Sterling / 010 / Weighted with cement, steel weight & rod. The bases have a few dings and one base has a slight twist, otherwise excellent condition.

WOW! This is a large Muffineer (Sugar Shaker or Caster) in a classic octagonal shape with a pierced top. Measures a full 8 1/4 inches tall. The base is marked on the side with the Chester marks indicating sterling made in 1905 by George Nathan and Ridley Hayes silversmiths (GN/RH). The removable top has the sterling and date marks. The piece weighs about 7.2 Troy ounces, or 224 grams. Excellent condition with only a few minor dings and a slight wobble to the foot.

This is a late Victorian belt buckle that has been re-fashioned into a brooch. All the faceted, cut steel studs are riveted into place onto a steel backing plate. The brass buckle slide fitting is still on the piece, which now has a pin-back glued to it. Unmarked, but probably French. Measures about 2 1/8 x 3/8 inches. Excellent condition, with a wonderful patina and just a hint of rust.
