| This is a late Victorian belt buckle that has been re-fashioned into a brooch. All the faceted, cut steel studs are riveted into place onto a steel backing plate and frame. The brass buckle fittings are still on the piece, which now has a pin-back glued to it. Unmarked, but probably French. Measures about 2 x 2 inches. Excellent condition, with a wonderful patina and just a hint of rust overall, and a few rusted studs under the top layer. | ||||||
