Fabulous late-Victorian or Edwardian pansy bracelet. This is masterfully handmade in 14k gold. The Art Nouveau flowers are articulated on each link so that they move independently from the curvature of the bracelet. The pansies are individually hand painted in a silvery enamel, each having a small, 3/16 carat mine cut diamond in the middle. The pansies are about 1 1/8 inch across. The bracelet is about 7 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a maker's mark on the back: K-A, with the K reversed/backwards, and 14K. The pansies are definitely from the late-19th century, and look to have been mechanically attached to a bracelet made in the 1940s. I say mechanically attached because any other way the enamel would have been damaged.
It weighs about 1.74 Troy ounces (54 grams). The bracelet has a slide clasp and a safety chain. Overall excellent condition, but does have a small amount of enamel loss (see photos).
It has an inscription on the back: Todo a tuya M-1941-M (You are my everything 1941). Despite that date, the pansies on this bracelet are definitely from the late Victorian era.
