| This little pitcher or jug has a wonderful bathing beauty climbing up the side. It is a beautifully crafted piece from around the turn of the last century. It is made of a thin pottery and marked with a number “8761 III.” There are no chips or cracks to the pitcher body, but the fragile lady handle is crazed and appears to have several hairline cracks around the arms (see photo). None of the cracks are separating the ceramic, however, and appear to be tight hairlines rather than breaks. The pitcher stands about 6 inches tall. | ||||||||
