| This is a scatter pin made from 19th Century United States silver coins. I originally had a pair of these Victorian LOVE TOKENS, but just sold one of them. The coin is a Liberty capped bust half-dime from 1835. One side of the coin has been ground flat and engraved with the initials PBJ (or maybe PBI – the script is quite fancy and the third letter is ambiguous). The pin is gold-filled and dates from the late 19th century, with a C-clasp and tubular hinge. Excellent condition. JUST ONE AVAILABLE. | ||||||
