This is a superb bracelet with a belt buckle design incorporating three half pearls and black enamel. The workmanship is excellent and condition is very good as well – just a few surface scratches and a few minor dents, which can be expected after nearly 150 years. The inside has a monogrammed date inscription: 27 ноябрь 1863 (27 November 1863).
It is made from 14K gold and is marked on the clasp. The mark indicates Russian manufacture: 56 / TS / hallmark? The 56 = 14K gold; TS = the maker’s mark; the hallmark looks like a leaf, but? It weighs approx. 0.685 Troy ounces (21.3 grams). It has a good clasp and solid hinge. Measures about 11/16 inch wide and 3/32 inch thick with about 6 inches inside size. |
