Gorgeous pendant watch done in the old-fashioned way, with the numbers set with 12 at the bottom so it is easy to read when turned up. The watch is decorated with black enamel, sterling silver and seed pearls, including the bale. Made by Oscar Fresard of Lucerne, Switzerland, probably in the 1920s.
The face is a dark ivory or cream color with fancy black numerals. The face is marked O. Fresard Lucerne / Swiss. The movement looks clean and works. It has a variety of marks, but no serial number. Marked: Fresard Watch Swiss / 15 Jewels Fifteen / Three 3 Adj. The inside of the case is marked: Sterling Silver / 0,935 / Hallmark / Fresard Watch Swiss / 33. The inside of the lens bezel is also marked 33. The oval pendant measures about 1 1/8 inches by 3/4 inch, not including the bale or wind knob. Excellent condition.
