This lovely pair of English parcel gilt and painted vases in the Aesthetic style feature beautiful images of song birds and flowers. They date from the 1890s and have been drilled, possibly to accommodate lamp hardware, and on undersides carry a collection registry number, 203948, impressed numeric factory marks, and gilt factory number 1270. Each measures approximately 15.75" by 8.75" by 5.5".

This pair of German vases by Gebruder Heubach feature white on salmon pate-sur-pate decorations depicting the Greek goddess of the soul, Psyche, and gilded floral decorations on royal blue ground. Undersides carry an interlaced H and I of a German maker, and they date from as early as the 1890s. Each measures 9.5" tall and 3.2" across. One vase has a few small losses at the base as seen in our images.

This pair of nineteenth century continental Grecian form vases feature neoclassical and romantic scenes of maidens and cupids on a black ground. Each measures 18.2" tall and 7" across and each is in good condition, with some noticeable scratches to the polychrome decoration and wear to the gilding, consistent with age. There are no signs of restoration, and one vase has a hairline crack visible on the inside of the neck.

This antique glazed white porcelain cachepot a la Marie Antoinette with Sevres mark features gilded ram heads comes from Samson of Paris and dates from the 19th century. It measures 9.5" tall and 10.75" across (24.1 by 27.3 cm). Condition is good, with no visible cracks or repairs, and wear that is consistent with age, including rubbing/wear to the gilding, plus scratches and surface dirt. We also have a similar but larger Sevres style cachepot in the same style which is available separately.

Included here is a pair of antique rectangular porcelain vases in the Japanese style, featuring reticulated necks, gilded serpent handles, and enamel painted floral and bird designs on a black glazed ground. We estimate these vases date from the late nineteenth century. Condition is very good. There are no visible cracks and a small chip from the edge of the foot of one vase, but no other damages. There is obvious wear to the gilding, consistent with age...

Rear carries the stamped hallmark which includes the T&V logo, with LIMOGES and FRANCE (illegible) underneath. Plaque measures approximately 7.75 by 11 inches (19.7 by 27.9 cm), and frame measures 11.75 by 14.75 by 0.75 inches and weighs 2 lbs. 15 oz. (1.3 kg). This pair of very tall porcelain vases date from the nineteenth century and are likely from Paris. Each features hand-painted figural scenes depicting females and cherubs in neoclassical settings on salmon colored ground. Gilding decorates the handles, base and rim. This pair of wonderful 20 inch tall Greek Revival ceramic vases feature finely cast bronze mounts with figurative Greek motifs, and drip glaze of blue and gray with hints of yellow. They are unmarked and the maker and country of origin are unknown. Condition is excellent. There are no visible cracks or losses. They have the shape of a loutrophoros, a large two-handled vase designed to hold water and commonly used during marriage rituals.

This extraordinary palace size urn in the Sevres style, circa 1890-1900, measures 66 by 22 by 16 in (167 by 56 by 41 cm). It features a beautiful painting of a cloud-born muse surrounded by cherubs, and is signed by the artist, Maxant. It also has large gilt bronze mounts including cherubs nestled in foliate designs at the shoulders, pomegranate finial, and pedestal. Condition is very good. Glazed finish shows craquelure and there are no known restorations or visible damages.
