This pair of neoclassical urns or jardinieres are carved from alabaster stone and reside on matched scaglola pedestals, and date from from the mid to late 19th century. Heights including pedestals are 69 and 67.5 in (175.5 and 171.5 cm). The urns have some surface dirt and chips at the bases, and one panel of alabaster is missing from one side of one base as seen in our images. The pedestals have abrasions, obvious scratches and chip losses.

This antique glazed white porcelain cachepot a la Marie Antoinette with Sevres mark features gilded ram heads comes from Samson of Paris and dates from the 19th century. It measures 9.5" tall and 10.75" across (24.1 by 27.3 cm). Condition is good, with no visible cracks or repairs, and wear that is consistent with age, including rubbing/wear to the gilding, plus scratches and surface dirt. We also have a similar but larger Sevres style cachepot in the same style which is available separately.

Included here is a pair of antique rectangular porcelain vases in the Japanese style, featuring reticulated necks, gilded serpent handles, and enamel painted floral and bird designs on a black glazed ground. We estimate these vases date from the late nineteenth century. Condition is very good. There are no visible cracks and a small chip from the edge of the foot of one vase, but no other damages. There is obvious wear to the gilding, consistent with age...

This antique porcelain plaque from Tressemann & Vogt of Limoges France depicts a lovely village landscape scene in the impressionist style. We have found no signature. Rear carries the stamped hallmark which includes the T&V logo, with LIMOGES and FRANCE (illegible) underneath. This delightful glazed and enameled oval planter in the Neo-Grecian style is believed to be of English or French origin, circa 1880s-1890s, and is decorated scenes of hunting dogs pursuing geese. This pair of exceptional andirons in the French Louis XVI style feature armorial and neoclassical motifs including lion masks, swags, frolicking putti, and rinceau, and date from the 19th century. This pair of very tall porcelain vases date from the nineteenth century and are likely from Paris. Each features hand-painted figural scenes depicting females and cherubs in neoclassical settings on salmon colored ground. Gilding decorates the handles, base and rim. This pair of wonderful 20 inch tall Greek Revival ceramic vases feature finely cast bronze mounts with figurative Greek motifs, and drip glaze of blue and gray with hints of yellow. They are unmarked and the maker and country of origin are unknown. Condition is excellent. There are no visible cracks or losses. They have the shape of a loutrophoros, a large two-handled vase designed to hold water and commonly used during marriage rituals.
