This lovely Paris porcelain vase from the early/mid 19th century measures 16.2" tall and 10.2" across. They feature gild grounds, topographical painted scenes on front, and gilt ground on rear with floral wreath, stylized dolphin handles, raised acanthus motif above the neck, and pedestal with lion masks, anthemions and raised paw feet. Condition is good. There is a noticeable loss from the underside of the rim, and restoration to the painting at the base of the landscape scene...

This extraordinary palace size urn in the Sevres style, circa 1890-1900, measures 66 by 22 by 16 in (167 by 56 by 41 cm). It features a beautiful painting of a cloud-born muse surrounded by cherubs, and is signed by the artist, Maxant. It also has large gilt bronze mounts including cherubs nestled in foliate designs at the shoulders, pomegranate finial, and pedestal. Condition is very good. Glazed finish shows craquelure and there are no known restorations or visible damages.

This very large porcelain cachepot in the Sevres fashion was made by Samson of Paris, and dates from circa 1900-1920. It has a bucket form and elaborate painted decorations in the 18th century style. The lip features a parcel-gilt bas-relief frieze with rinceau motif, depicting baby Nereids and foliate scroll-mantled vases, and the body is painted with four floral roundels on a white enamel interlaced ground. This beautiful pair of Charles X parcel gilt biscuit porcelain cupid figures with reticulated baskets measure 16 in (41 cm) and date from circa 1830. Both have chips to the top of the figures' headdress where it meets the basket. Restorations and regilding of the headdress extend from the top to the lower leaf area with very minor chips to the edges of the lower leaves. Included here is a matching pair of Grand Tour Paris porcelain vases, featuring gilded and enamelled decoration depicting chariot racers. Measurements: 14 x 8.25 x 6 inches; 35.6 x 21 x 15.2 cm. There are no visible damages (no cracks nor chips), but a bit of house paint at the lip and the neck of one vase which we will have carefully removed prior to shipment. One vase has a firing stress crack on the underside. Each carries a shallow impressed mark in the shape of an "S" and roman numerals...

This very large French porcelain dresser box dates from the mid to late nineteenth century and measures an impressive 14.25" wide, 12.75" deep and 5.5" tall (36.1 by 32.3 by 14 cm). It has no hallmarks and is believed to be an example of Paris porcelain. It features organic gilded and hand-painted floral decoration, and cast and gilded metal mounts. There are no visible cracks nor chips, and the hing works fine. Metal mount has been reglued in place.

These Paris porcelain campana form urns or vases date from the early to mid nineteenth century. They feature painted landscapes, enamelled handles and Bacchic masks, and extensive gilded decorations. Condition of each is good. There are abrasions and chip losses to the interior of the rims, and visible wear to the gilding, and a very small chip loss to the bottom edge of one vase. This pair of antique porcelain joss stick holders or candlesticks in the form of ceremonial elephants have come fresh from estate sale. We have found no visible cracks or signs of restoration. Each carries the same impressed mark which appears to be a capital "S" with "+" sign and "W" or other character. Possibly by Samson. Neither were cleaned prior to photography, and each would benefit from a gentle cleaning. Each measures approximately 9.7" high, 9" long and 4" deep.

Included here is a pair of nineteenth century porcelain stands by Jacob Petit, and pair of complimentary porcelain decanters. Pedestals each measure 8.5" by 8" by 2.5" and the pair weighs 4 lbs. 5 oz. Each has a few short firing cracks, and one has losses at each of the lion masks on each side. Each carries the familiar Jacob Petit blue mark under glaze on the underside. The decanters date from the nineteenth century and are unmarked aside from red numerals on the undersides...

Measures 13.75 by 6.5 by 6 inches (34.9 by 16.5 by 15.2 cm). They feature delightful raised, enamelled and gilded decoration (including a single large lizard, and butterflies and beetles) on a robin egg blue ground, and rest upon faux carved wooden and footed pedestals. This extraordinary pair of porcelain vases by Saint Denis of Paris, circa 1880, feature gilt bronze mounts and wonderful gilded and champleve enamelled decoration depicting exotic birds and flowers. Measures: 21" tall and 12" wide; 53.3 cm and 30.5 cm. Each carries the St. Denis impressed mark and 771 style number, and each is in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or signs of restoration.
