This pair of extraordinary Sevres porcelain urns from the Empire period feature extensive gilt decorations including eagles with spread wings on one side, and Napoleonic "N" emblem on opposite side, plus Greco-Roman mask handles. Condition is very good. There is a small crack visible on the inside at the base of one vase, and two short hairlines visible on the exterior...

This exceptional porcelain plaque is enameled with a scene of three Arab men smoking hookahs and playing backgammon, apparently after an original oil painting by the accomplished British painter, William Henry Margetson (1861-1940). Plaque is beautifully detailed with ornate curtains, wallpaper and Oriental rug and finely detailed faces. "W. Margetson" signature in lower left. Rear of plaque is unfinished bisque surface, with no visible hallmarks. Plaque resides in a contemporary giltwood frame...

This faience vase by Céramique de Saint-Amand-les-Eauxf dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century features a lovely peacock design. These Paris porcelain campana form urns or vases date from the early to mid nineteenth century. They feature painted landscapes, enamelled handles and Bacchic masks, and extensive gilded decorations. Condition of each is good. There are abrasions and chip losses to the interior of the rims, and visible wear to the gilding, and a very small chip loss to the bottom edge of one vase. This Jugendstil earthenware vase by Reissner, Stellmacher & Kessel (R.S.K.), dates from circa 1900s-1905s, and is in excellent condition. This nineteenth century Meissen figurine depicts a handsome young gentleman with watering can and spade. Underside shows the Meissen blue hallmark and impressed style mark 6168. This wonderful and large 19th century Delft blue and white two-handled vase features a pretty seaside scene on one side. Measures 12 3/8" high, 9.5" wide including the handles, and has a diameter of 8.5". Weighs 4 lbs. 5 oz. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations. The painted scene depicts a nursing mother and small child near the water's edge with sailboats on the ocean in the distance. Signed "HEISTERKAMP"...

This KPM plaque from the late 19th to early 20th century depicts an Alsatian wedding scene, after the original oil painting by Louis Benjamin Vautier (Swiss, 1829-1898) known as Dancing Break at an Alsatian Wedding. Recently professionally framed. We have not removed the plaque for inspection and are selling the item "as-is". Condition is excellent. There are no visible cracks or signs of restoration...

This porcelain plaque by KPM, after the original oil painted by Rembrandt in 1635, depicts the painter and his wife, Saskia. Plaque measures 5 by 6.8 inches and resides in a period frame measuring 11.5 by 13.5 by 3 inches. We have not removed the plaque for closer inspection and are selling the item as-is. Condition of the surface is very good. There is a small area of blunt force damage near the lower left corner, and a thin scrape along the botton edge in the center...

This pair of antique porcelain joss stick holders or candlesticks in the form of ceremonial elephants have come fresh from estate sale. We have found no visible cracks or signs of restoration. Each carries the same impressed mark which appears to be a capital "S" with "+" sign and "W" or other character. Possibly by Samson. Neither were cleaned prior to photography, and each would benefit from a gentle cleaning. Each measures approximately 9.7" high, 9" long and 4" deep.

This pair of antique porcelain cachepots feature beautiful hand-painted song birds and flowers, and ormolu bronze pedestals with leafy folliage. Each were originally drilled and thus could be modified to work as table lamps. Each measures 9.5 in tall by 8.25 in across (24.1 by 8.25 cm).

These framed portrait plaques depicting elegant young women are signed "J Pirkner" and date from the mid to late nineteenth century. They reside in period giltwood and gesso frames which are in good condition. There are a few minor gesso losses. There is some inpainting noticeable to the fur jacket of the female pictured on the right. There are no visible cracks or losses.
