This exceptional porcelain plaque is enameled with a scene of three Arab men smoking hookahs and playing backgammon, apparently after an original oil painting by the accomplished British painter, William Henry Margetson (1861-1940). Plaque is beautifully detailed with ornate curtains, wallpaper and Oriental rug and finely detailed faces. "W. Margetson" signature in lower left. This porcelain plaque by KPM, after the original oil painted by Rembrandt in 1635, depicts the painter and his wife, Saskia. Plaque measures 5 by 6.8 inches and resides in a period frame measuring 11.5 by 13.5 by 3 inches. We have not removed the plaque for closer inspection and are selling the item as-is. This pair of porcelain vases by KPM date carry the Reichsapfel Marke of the mid nineteenth century. One has an old and poor restoration to a break above the pedestal. This pair of porcelain figural candelabra by Meissen date from the nineteenth century, and are in excellent condition. Each measures 20" tall, 11.5" wide and 11.5" deep. They feature three candle arms and extensive raised floral decoration. One depicts cherubs with a summar harvest motif and the other depicts cherubs with a Bacchanal theme. There are no signs of restoration, and only a few small losses to the floral petals. Each carries the Meissen crossed sword marks and other impressed marks...

This delightful and very rare glazed ceramic vent cover was designed by the noted Austrian ceramicist, Vally Wieselthier (1885-1945) for the Wiener Werkstatte. It measures 28.5" by 19.5" by 4.25" (72.4 by 49.5 by 10.8 cm), and was designed to fit openings measuring a minimum of 26.5" by 15.5" (67.3 by 39.4 cm). The outer surface is in good condition and shows a degree of crazing consistent with other Wieselthier pieces of the same period...

Included here are two antique porcelain wall pockets by KPM. Each measures approximately 13 by 7 by 1.75 inches (33.0 by 17.8 by 4.4 cm). Condition of each is excellent, with no visible cracks or chips. Both carry the same KPM red mark. One is signed " G.K. " with the number 84 and letter S. The other has been reglazed on verso with the KPM mark left unglazed, and it carries the number 83 and letter N. One depicts a smiling female wearing a lace veil and the other depicts cupid.
