This magnificent ivory plaque depicting a hunting scene exhibits the finest carving. It is dated 1843 and initialed by the artist, and almost certainly of German or Austrian origin. Plaque measures 4.5 by 4.3 in (11.4 by 10.9 cm) and the giltwood frame measures5.5 by 6.6 by 0.3 in (14 by 16.8 by 0.8 cm).
This pair of antique carved wooden wall brackets depict Bacchic figures surrounded by vines and grape bunches. They date from the nineteenth century and have been regilded. Height: 9.5 in. (24.13 cm). Depth: 6 in. (15.24 cm). Width: 7.8 in. (19.81 cm).
Included here is a pair of antique carved giltwood wall brackets, believed to be of Italian origin and dating from circa 1900. Each measures approximately 15" tall, 13" wide and 6" deep. These items reside on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment.
This antique clown whirligig has its original painted finish and measures 58" (4' 10") high, 10" wide and deep at the base, and has arms that are 21" long. Structurally sound. Arms move freely. This item resides with our client in Hoboken NJ and may be seen by appointment.
