This exceptional and large parquetry inlaid and gilt bronze-mounted commode dates from circa 1900, and exhibits the highest level of craftsmanship. We have inspected a few mounts and found the impressed marks of the bronzier which appear to read HPP, HFP, HPB OR HFB. Condition is excellent.

This lovely vitrine by Francois Linke (1855-1946) dates from the early twentieth century. It is signed " F LINKE " on the top of the door and also signed on the bronze railing mount on the left upper side. It measures 52" wide, 45.5" tall and 14.5" deep (132.1 cm by 115.6 cm by 36.8 cm). Condition is very good. The mounts were recently removed and thoroughly cleaned. The finish is original and shows modest wear in spots, consistent with age...

This extraordinary antique Empire Revival mahogany center table measures an impressive 70.4" across and 32" tall (179 cm by 81 cm) and features four pairs of gilded Greek caryatid figures. The top is made of four sections which fit tightly. There are no major chips to the stone. Condition of the frame is excellent. Chips and nicks to the veneer and composition caryatids are consistent with age. We will be happy to complete professional restoration at our cost prior to shipment.

This lovely vitrine by Francois Linke (1855-1946) on cabriole legs has a serpentine shape, rouge marble top and extensive gilt bronze mounts including swags, cherubs, and female masks at the corners. It is distinguished for its three Vernis Martin panels. It has its original working lock and key, and red velvet lining, plus an electrified ceiling lamp behind semi-opaque glass. This extraordinary, palace-size French Empire Revival armoire dates from circa 1900, and measures 98" (8 ft 2 in) tall, 60" (5 ft) wide and 22" deep. It features extensive and massive bronze mounts throughout by the French bronzier Kahn, who according to Sotheby's was a leading bronzier working in France in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. Underside of mounts bear the stamped mark "KAHN". We have found no other markings and the cabinet maker is unknown...
