This antique American federal period mirror in the Chippendale style dates from the early 19th century and contains its original mirrored glass. Measures 20.25" high and 12.5" wide. Mirror can no longer be used to due deterioration of the silvering, but it nonetheless is a pretty and fine example of 19th century craftsmanship. Glass could certainly be resilvered. This item resides on the upper west side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.

This lovely antique dressing or shaving mirror measures 27.5" wide x 11.5" deep x 30.25" high. Very good condition.

This antique cheval style shaving mirror in the English Regency style is believed to date from the late 18th century to mid 19th century. No restorations. Original hardware and finials. Measures 14.5" high by 11.25" wide by 5.75" deep. Mirror angle adjusts. Excellent condition, especially considering its delicate turned elements and delicate finials and hardware. Original silvering is intact except for a small area on the left side. Likely of British or American origin.
This extraordinary Egyptian Revival period giltwood girandole mirror dates from circa 1880, and features a convex shaped circular mirror, figural crocodiles, royal male figure at the top, and spread eagle wings at the base. It measures 28.5" wide (32.5" wide including candle arms) and 53" tall. The diameter of the circular convex glass mirror is 17". This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
This extraordinary carved giltwood mirror in the Italian Baroque style dates from the nineteenth century, and measures an impressive 69" (5' 9") by 41" (3' 5"). Its depth varies between 2.25" and 4.25". The glass measures 41" by 25". It has its original finish and there are some minor losses here and there. This mirror is estate-fresh and will benefit from a gentle cleaning.
This wonderful mirror in the French Louis XVI style features extensive hand-carved wooden decoration in high relief. There is no use of gesso and the entire piece is crafted from carved wood. A large urn and leafy scrolls decorate the crestrail, and a Greek key motif decorates each corner. The entire perimeter of the mirror features a grapevine motif. It measures 54.5" by 31" by 2", and the glass measures 36.5" by 23". We estimate it dates from the early twentieth century...
This lovely old carved wooden mirror with gold highlights and pale Chinese vermilion ground features oriental painted figures and an ornate crest. Beveled glass appears to be original and has lost a noticeable degree of silvering throughout the surface. (We will be happy to provide a quote for new glass to our customer's specifications.) Overall condition is good. There are visible losses to the finish throughout, but we do not recommend restoration of any kind...
This antique Ottoman period metal mirror features embossed animal figures and Arabic calligraphy. Possibly Syrian, Arabic or Persian. Measures: 42.5" H X 26" W X 1" D (108.0 cm H X 66.0 cm W X 2.5 cm D).
