This magnificent figural marble group by the Italian artist, Aristide Petrilli, dates from the last quarter of the ninetenth century, and depicts a young maiden sleeping on a bench, surrounded by cherubs. One is suspended on her shoulder and whispering in her ear, while a group in cloud formation floats above the bench and are presenting flower baskets and a box overflowing with jewels. A trio of cherubs on the left are singing as they read from a musical score...
Included here is a pair of antique bronze figurines depicting a female wielding a sword and another stroking a harp. Each measures approximately 15" tall and 6" across. We have found no hallmarks. This antique carved wooden sculpture depicting two horned ibex dates from the nineteenth century and likely comes from the Black Forest region of Germany. It measures 25" by 16" by 11". There are a few noticeable cracks at the base but no losses.

This fabulous antique bronze sculpture depicts a group of three putti celebrating the grape harvest. It measures 11" high, 7" wide and 6" deep, and has a wonderfully dark brown patina with hints of red and lighter shades of brown. We have found no foundry mark nor signature. This piece likely dates from the mid to late nineteenth century. This item resides with our client in northern New Jersey and may be seen in person by appointment.
Included here is a pair of antique cast bronze sculptures depicting Greek or Roman robed females, likely intended to represent an allegory of science.
Each measures 18" high, 6" wide and 6" deep. Each are estate-fresh and a bit dirty, but the patinas on each are great and reflect the age of the pieces. Each has a small hole in the rear of the upper back (one has been plugged) and there are recessed rectangular areas in the rear where possibly hardware or nameplates were originally intended...
