This pair of modern sconces feature gilt metal frames and candle arms, and a rectangular chinoiserie style urn, and dozens of pendants and flower petals crafted from rock crystal. All stones are rock crystal and there is no glass in these fixtures. Measures: 28" x 11.5" x 4.5". We will be happy to add wiring, sockets and candle covers for an additional $200.

Here is a rare matching pair of vintage Embryo chairs by Marc Newson (1963- ) and produced in Japan by Idee in 1988. They feature polished and lacquered tube steel legs with brushed aluminum flanges, and their original black neoprene upholstery. Condition of each is excellent. There are no rips or scuffs, and only some light fingerprints which can be removed. Each measures 31" high, 23.5" wide and 35" deep, with seat height of 16.5". (78.7 x 59.7 x 88.9 cm, seat height 41.9 cm)...
This delightful sculpture in the form of an eggplant or other vegetable was designed for Orrefors by Anne Nilsson (1953- ) in 1989, and is believed to be a one-of-a-kind. Its condition is very good. There are only a few nicks and a shallow scratch roughly three inches long. Weighs 9.9 lbs (4.5 kg). Anne Nilsson studied art at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and glass and ceramics at the National College of Arts and Crafts in Stockholm where Bertil Vallien was a teacher...
This glass bowl with engraved Battuto stand in deep violet was designed by Laura de Santillana (1955- ) for Venini and produced in 1986. Condition is excellent. There are no deep scratches and no visible cracks. Signed and dated with original clear Venini label. Stand and bowl weigh 10 and almost 4 lbs. respectively.

This occhi vase in opaque black glass with white eyes is unsigned, and is believed to be from Murano and possibly by Tobia Scarpa. Scarpa is particularly known for his partially transparent occhi vases designed for Venini. Weighs 3.6 lbs. It has a partially polished pontil and base. Additional images forwarded upon request.
This opaque white glass mask and original stand by Venini dates from the 1980s and is in excellent condition. There are no visible cracks, chips or scratches, and it has its original pressure sensitive label. It is also engraved " Venini " with two digits to indicate the year. (This portion of the glass proved very difficult to photograph, and we have not yet deciphered the date.) This is one of two Venini masks that we have available...
This blue glass platter was designed by Tapio Wirkkala (1915- 1985) for Venini and produced in 1988. It measures 16" across and 1.75" tall (40.6 cm and 4.4 cm), and weighs 2.1 lbs. It carries its original Venini label on front, and engraved marks "Venini" and "TW" on verso along with the year of manufacture. Dimensions: 1.75" H X 16" Diameter (4.4cm H X 40.6cm Diameter).
This Coccio glass vase was designed by Alessandro Diaz de Santillana (1959- ) for Venini in 1984. It is in excellent condition, with no visible cracks, losses or deep scratches. The Coccio design was created when the artist was working in residence at Venini. His creations for Venini were featured in an exhibition in New York at the Heller Gallery entitled "Venini: The Spirit of the Moment". Dimensions: 7" H X 7" Dia (17.8cm H X 17.8cm Dia).
This plywood elephant with red stain is number 62 of a limited edition of 1,000, produced in 2007 by Vitra. Included are the original papers and canvas drawstring bag. It is in near mint condition. There is a very shallow scratch near the base of the right front leg, and no other scratches, dents, stains, or abrasions. It was photographed with flash and over-exposed a bit. The actual color is a richer fire-engine red which can be seen in our macro closeup shot of the label on the underside...
This Louis 20 ( or Louis XX ) side chair was designed by Philippe Starck in 1991 and produced in a very limited number around 1992-1993. It has an aluminum frame and rear legs, and single translucent blue polypropylene body. The Louis 20 was produced by Vitra in the 1990s in only a few opaque colors with matte finish (including black, green, blue, and red)...
This pair of vintage Shoshun stools date from as early as 1990 and are in good condition. Their original red and blue velvet upholstery is in good condition. There are light stains and noticeable signs of wear, consistent with age. Dimensions: 33.5" H X 21" W X 22" D (85.1cm H X 53.3cm W X 55.9cm D.
This "Sally" table, designed and produced by Shiro Kuramata (Japanese, 1934-1991) dates from 1987 and is in near mint condition. There are no visible scratches, dents or dings. Chrome finish is bright with no signs of corrosion. Designed for the Memphis Group, this is one of Kuramata's most memorable designs. Measures 30.5" tall and 21" across (77.5 cm by 53.3 cm).
